We will be donating this month’s 20% to For the Gworls Rent and Gender-Affirming Surgery Fund.
We are a Black, trans-led collective that curates parties to fundraise money to help Black transgender people pay for their rent, gender-affirming surgeries, smaller co-pays for medicines/doctor’s visits, and travel assistance.
Donations sent to this fund will go towards providing assistance for Black trans people that need help paying rent and gender-affirming surgeries. With this fund, we actively fight to reduce homelessness rates in the Black transgender community, as well as lower the risk for affirmative surgeries being done in ways that put them at greater health risks by fundraising on behalf of Black, transgender folks.
